Solkin is a house, not a label. The name holds the whole idea. Sol, for the sun. Kin, for your people. A life made richer by the light we live in, the people we share it with, and the things we choose to bring into our world. We began with the wardrobe, because it is the language our founder speaks most fluently. But the wardrobe is the doorway, not the destination.

The founder

Shivani Sarin is a stylist and costume designer with over seven years of experience dressing people for screen and for life. She trained in styling and image design in Delhi, built her career as a freelance stylist in Mumbai, and now works from London. Her work spans award-nominated screen productions, editorial and campaign styling, and celebrity styling for promotional appearances.

After years spent creating characters through clothing, she became more interested in the quieter craft of helping real people feel like themselves in what they wear. Solkin is the house that grew from it.

The belief

We teach attention, not taste

Taste can be borrowed. Attention makes a life your own. We believe luxury isn't necessarily a life of having the most, but the feeling of being at home in it. Knowing what matters to you, making room for it, and letting the rest fall away. It's a life where getting dressed becomes less about getting it right and more about moving through the world with ease. Where what surrounds you has meaning, what you choose has intention, and your life has room to be lived.

Style should return you to yourself, never turn you into someone else.

Where it goes

Solkin doesn't end at the wardrobe. At its heart is the idea that everyday life deserves intention, beauty and presence. We trust that, in time, this belief will find other languages to speak in, each growing from the same root.
